🖇The Prettiest Chapter Four：Sophie

     Sophie prepared carefully as if she is an army going to battlefield. Perfect makeups and best outfit was the armor to protect herself. Her mother was still sleeping as she worked all day to grow two daughters and afford high rent in Silver Ledge to let them go to good public school. Her father had sent them little money sometimes but rarely came home.

     Silver Ledge Apartment was standing in boundary of upper class residence and middle class residence so she needed to keep her home secret to avoid being judged by rich kids.

🖇The Prettiest Chapter Five：Eve

     Next morning, everyone was staring Eve in class, hallways, and even on the way to school. She got anonymous texts that said “u look real good today” which definitely is a sexual harassment. Mr Flynn, the home room teacher told her about counseling but he looked unwilling to talk with her. She got scared that even teachers was judging her appearance too and wanted to be nobody again. When Eve walked in the hallway, she noticed paper written “#2” was stuck to Sophie’s back. Sophie Kane started to get bullied.

     Sophie felt a little touch on back, Eve Hoffman was there holding a paper written “#2”. Eve panicked when Sophie looked directly at her eyes but recovered that someone else had done it. How can Sophie believe what she said? Is she making fun of Sophie? Then, something came off to Sophie’s mind...May be Eve made the list to go to halloween party with Brody, most popular boy in grade.

    When Sophie was prettiest, Brody probably liked her and even tried to kiss. However, in the morning, she saw him asking Eve to go party with him.

     Although Sophie started hating Eve, Sophie couldn’t stop to get surprised at her appearance, she had exact perfect face and body.

     Sophie tried to ignore the thought but in the bottom of heart, she knew that Eve deserved to be number one.

     Eve again got text from unknown number, but this time she was sure that it’s Brody. He was desperate to go dance party with Eve.

     In track practice after school, Sophie could finally distance herself from Sophie’s, group of girls that stick to her. She ran faster than anybody else, thinking about how everything around her changed within one day, one list. No one copied her fashion or makeup anymore which was disappointing.
