      Today, we learned about the company of Coke. Coke became the sponsor of EURO 2020. This wasn’t surprising as the company annually pays a lot of advertisement fees to the media. However, there was trouble between Muslim athletes, and forced him to advertise coke. This is a good example of how Coke had been invading human rights.

     Firstly, as mentioned in the “Killer Coke campaign” and “Kick Coke off-campus”, the product actually killed some people by its negative impact on health. Coke includes really strong acid and it can even be used to clean up the house, but we need to imagine what it will do to our bodies.

     Secondly, bags of cocaine were recently found in the Coke factory. Looking at history, the original French Coke was actually made with cocaine and red wine. As cocaine is very addictive, the product soon became very popular. I believe there is a high possibility of the company still using it as an ingredient.

     What Mr.Paterson told us was something that I never knew. The media obviously didn’t tell this to people because of the ownership. However, as it matters to people’s lives(even children’s), the media is responsible for telling this to the public in general.
