2020.1.13

Today, it was the first LE class in 2020. We learned about academic writing. It should be first time for most classmates(including me) to write it. This academic writing is an individual work and each person must write about their topic more specifically. We need to write a new introduction and conclusion but can copy and paste the brochure's body paragraphs. I had some parts I need to fix in my body paragraph before moving to the introduction and conclusion I spend this class improving the brochure(academic writing).
Firstly, I checked the percentage of AWL on a website called ''Analyze my writing'' and made higher than 7.0% of the whole essay. I couldn't finish that in term 2 as I was late to school that day and didn't know I needed to. I noticed when I was checking Feedly reading other's blog posts. For this term, I will check it properly when I couldn't attend class. In fact, my percentage of AWL was terrible at first but I was able to boost it. It changed from 2% to 7%.
Secondly, I noticed that I was not using a lot of references. Using reliable data is indispensable to persuade the audience. I was surprised to see the number of studies done by people around the world about the relationship between the learning environment and way the human brain works. It was actually easy for me to find suitable data, I have many opportunities to present recently so I want to use this learning too.
Conclusively, I improved the vocabulary and reliability of my brochure today. We need to work on academic writing at home so I will try my best to write a good introduction and conclusion.
