Today, we learned about some rules to make good slides. The point of the class was ''Simple is the best''. When making slides, I tend to make it a really fancy and colorful design. However, through today's class, I noticed making it easiest for people to understand is way better. There are some points I want to change.
I often use bullet points and write important sentences on the slide. Maybe, it became a cause to confuse people as it needs at least 20 seconds to understand. By making slides super-easy, people's attention gathers to presenter's speech instead of concentrating on the slide's contents too much.
1-7-7 rule means one point, seven? and 7 words in a line. The presenter knows deeply about their presentation's contents so they often expect too much on listeners.
